On Wednesday, President Mohamed Abousalem and members of 蜜桃直播 leadership welcomed Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger to campus to tour the institution and learn more about 蜜桃直播鈥檚 programs.

Barger toured classrooms and labs within the Occupational Therapy Doctorate, Doctor of Pharmacy, and Chan Family Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies programs, meeting with faculty and students to learn more about 蜜桃直播鈥檚 innovative programming that is educating the healthcare and biotechnology leaders of the future. Supervisor Barger鈥檚 district is home to nearly two million people, covers nearly 2,800 square miles and includes Claremont.

Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program Ana Sanchez provided a hands-on tour of an Occupational Therapy space, providing samples of activities students would use when working with young children. A cohort of faculty and students from the Doctor of Pharmacy talked with Barger about the curriculum and opportunities 蜜桃直播 pharmacy students have to engage with and support the community. Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies Program Director Christy Eskes led Barger through the collaborative classrooms and lab areas where students study and engage in Objective Structured Clinical Examinations, also known as OSCE.
