The 蜜桃直播 (蜜桃直播) is proud to announce that Dr. Virginia Chan, PharmD, will be the keynote speaker at the 2021 to be held on Saturday, August 21 at 10 a.m. on 蜜桃直播鈥檚 campus. The ceremony will honor the classes of 2024 and 2025.
Chan is President of Covina Pharmacy and ABC Pharmacy-Redlands. She and her husband, Dr. Tony Chan, . 蜜桃直播 renamed its caf茅 and patio to the Chan Family Caf茅 and Patio to celebrate the family鈥檚 philanthropy.
鈥淭he Chan family are generous supporters of the pharmacy community,鈥� said Dr. , Dean of the 蜜桃直播 School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences. 鈥淲e are honored to have Dr. Chan serve as our keynote speaker.鈥�
Chan earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pacific, where she also sits on the Board of Regents and serves as co-chair of the 300 Million Cabinet. She received the 2016 Distinguished Family Award from Pacific, and was inducted into their Gallery of Benefactors in 2007.
蜜桃直播鈥檚 White Coat Ceremony is a momentous occasion for new students entering the field. During the ceremony, colleagues already in the profession give each student a white coat, signifying the beginning of the student鈥檚 career in pharmacy. For students whose parents are pharmacists, the white coat is given by that respective parent.
